The problem
The club tracked players, guardians and subscriptions in exercise books, and communicated fixtures through several WhatsApp groups. Nobody could say reliably who was paid up, who was registered for a given season, or who had attended training.
Club finances were similarly informal, which made it hard to plan a season or account to members for what had been collected and spent.
